Moon is the limit

We like to focus is on moonshots – technological and scientific problems whose relevance reaches far into the future. What do we mean by that? We are fascinated by the challenges our society will face 10 or 20 years from now. Like the fact that once everyone has an autonomous vehicle, we will have to prevent traffic jams with algorithms. Or that you need sophisticated AI systems to fight advanced non-human cybercriminals.

High application potencial

We cooperate with both domestic and international grant agencies, small and large corporations, non-profits, government and prestigious foreign universities. We also had been funded for over 15 years by the US Department of Defense. And during the existence of AIC, we launched 5 successful startups.

Research exellence

AI Center is widely recognized as one of the best in the region. CSRankings.org currently ranks it at number 6 in Europe within AI and Computer Vision, after Technion, ETH Zurich, Imperial, Max Planck Society, and EPFL.

In our two decades history, we published in the Science journal, presented our fundamental as well as application research at prestigious conferences all over the world, our team was successful in the DARPA robotic challenge and we are constantly receiving calls for interesting projects and scientific challenges.
