Two participants of the 2026 Spin-off/Start-up Ready! commercialization program at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) achieved first place at the final Investor Pitch Night with their project, DECOR.

Muris Sladić and Sebastián García - both from the Stratosphere Laboratory - presented DECOR, a cybersecurity solution designed to help organizations detect and delay malicious actors through the use of adaptive AI–driven deception technology.

According to the project team, the solution redirects attackers away from real enterprise systems and into controlled cloud-based decoy environments. These decoys are positioned along legitimate production access paths, allowing security teams additional time to identify and respond to potential threats before significant damage occurs.

The team describes the solution as requiring no additional software or hardware installation, no access to customer data, and deployment in less than 30 minutes.

The Investor Pitch Night marked the culmination of the Spin-off/Start-up Ready! program, a semester-long initiative organized by TRUE venture builder at CTU. The program supports students and researchers in transforming scientific and technological innovations into commercially viable ventures. Through a combination of expert-led workshops, individual mentoring, and practical assignments, participants learn how to assess market opportunities, develop business models, create go-to-market strategies, protect intellectual property, and present their ideas to potential investors.

The final Investor Pitch Night was supported by DEPO Ventures, Spinoffy, and Czech Founders, with additional support provided by the Artificial Intelligence Center at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU.
